TheWatteauConsole
The Watteau Console draws together a antique vocabulary—drapery, chevrons and the rising sun—in a decidedly modern composition. Its Breccia Pernice marble top bears a striking familial resemblance to the Peach patina immediately beneath it, producing a harmony of pinks, reds and warm stone.

The Watteau belongs at the far end of a grand entryway, beneath an important picture, or perhaps holding a particularly monumental vase. All of it lit, naturally, by a Troost or a pair of Legat sconces.
Designed in NYC, made in Colorado. Calculated, as ever, to improve and refine the present taste.
